There should be a global campaign against sugar.

Main Post:

I’m aware this will never happen. Big corporations make too much off of the substance. I’m also aware that there is a lot of information online about how harmful sugar is, but I recommend a complete, global campaign against it.

We shouldn’t ban the substance whatsoever, nor tell people that they can’t consume it, but we should cut down on sugar additives in the foods we buy at stores. If people want to make their own ultra sugary foods, then they should make it themselves. Your average Hershey bar has 17g of sugar, and for what? Would it be such a problem to cut this number down to, I don’t know, 12g? This notion can apply to a lot of foods. All of these sweets could easily drawback some of their sugars, just a little bit, and it would make an impact.

Then, we have foods that have added sugars that aren’t even SWEET. Why do we need that sugar, besides getting people addicted? If you look at wonder white bread, there are 2g of added sugar per slice. REMOVE IT!

Do you HONESTLY think 12 ounces of Mountain Dew NEEDS 46g of sugar to taste good? Cut it back!

So, point one, is to reduce the amounts we put into foods. People are going to eat sugar, so let’s reduce the amount in our favorite foods.

We also need to warn people about the dangerous health effects of sugar, more so than we already are. Yes, we can go online and read articles about the dangers of the substance, but people still don’t get it. We need proper education and warnings about sugar, and how impactful the overconsumption of it can be. I’m talking TV commercials, billboards, YouTube ads, etc. SHOW people. We NEED this, EVERYWHERE.

They did it with fat, why not with sugar? Because the whole time, sugar makes the money.

I couldn't agree more. The only reason this is unpopular is because people don't educate themselves about food or they just don't care.

Sugar is my greatest earner for 2018 and although some have a different opinion, the mannerism in how they are releasing their exchange by staying anonymous (after the Ukraine executive getting kidnapped, I can understand wanting to be private in order to, you know, secure your life) is what I would obviously do in order to protect myself. I love the whitepaper, website, airdrops, and the way they are rolling out into the crypto space. Couldn't have done it better myself.
